Odd marketing on NFLN for tomorrow's games..."watch Matt Barkley and the Eagles".

I dunno, I sometimes wonder if he ends up starting at some point for them this season.

True, which is why I was surprised Barkley fell so far. QBs usually aren't under drafted.

Could be, but he is pretty buried as of right now from what is being reported.

Reminds me of Kyle Boller. You don't magically turn into a good QB in the pros.
 
I didn't like Fluker for our spot if he would have been there but I have to admit he looked pretty good tonight.

I think all of the QBs who vaulted into "stardom" this year were media creations. The one who got the least hype was Andrew Luck, mostly because his team made the least noise, but he'll end up being the best.

Kaepernick and Wilson, IMO, will both not end up being long term stars. And RGIII may, but he won't be better than Luck.
 
My only takeaways from tonight are how much I hate ESPN. I had sort of forgotten how truly annoying Gruden is. But what's worse is the Countdown Crew they have assembled. I can maybe give Ditka a pass because he doesn't really know any better, but as for the rest...

Berman, Carter, Purple Lips and Key. Can you come up with a more repulsive group. And how would you rank them in terms of pure hatred for them...I think it's a 4 way tie.

Agreed, I don't think I've watched a full pregame show in damn near 10 years.
 
They all suck, just some more than others. Last season I think I just watched the Fantasy Football pregame show on ESPN 2. It's more entertaining.

Cowboys videos, highlights, and interviews. NFL network is on mute until the Cowboys stuff comes on.

The funny thing is when I was little I remember really enjoying the pregame shows. Maybe it was just because the Cowboys were really good so it was more entertaining. Or maybe it was because I was more excited for the football games back then. I still don't miss a game but I feel like I use to live and die by the Cowboys on Sunday. Maybe it's because I'm older now and have matured or maybe it's just because the Cowboys have worn me down over the last decade or more.
 
The Eagles' Rocky theme really annoys me.
 
Steven Ridley needs to get a little faster.

That was comical.
