I'd be the dude from Dexter and grow a little pot farm in the middle of a corn field. It's really the only way to survive out there.
 
I really like the area...went to a baseball game last night, happy with my housing, they have all the stores and restaurants I need...so I have no complaints. People are genuinely nice too. The public school system is excellent as well. Definitely a nice change from Vegas.
 
Omaha is a big city...Timberlake is playing here soon, so you know it's legit.

I think that most people underestimate this factor. It makes all of the difference.
 
The big difference is that no one is from Vegas...so there is no civic pride. People were born and raised here and are proud of where they grew up.
