BTB: If You Could Have One Player From Each NFC East Team ...

I know those of you going JPP think it is all obvious, but really?

You are willing to play him at LDE? Not certain I would.

Again, all of these hypotheticals are based on me fitting them in on this team, right now.

Nitpicking SOB.

I'll figure out what to do with him once he gets here, but the more pass rushers the better.

He's not that small, 6'5" 270. He's a lot bigger than Spencer.

Not sure on Cox either. He wasn't exactly as good as I thought he'd be in their wide 9 4-3 last year and could probably be a better 3-4 end.

Fair enough, but he was just a rookie so he has plenty of time to improve and catch on.

The only other players on that team that would be attractive are the skill players, but I don't think I'd want any of them over Cox's potential. Now, the one thing would worry about him was the stuff floating around about him being soft. We have enough of those guys already so I certainly would not want another player in that mold, but I'd take a chance on him if such an opportunity were to present itself.

Right on.

A guy with that size and that talent? You find a way to make it work. Hell, chances are guys like that find a way to produce no matter what.

The Eagles team as a whole is a trainwreck, picked Allen just because we need a warm body at safety, but I forgot about Fletcher Cox, that would be a better choice.

To hell with that.

I wouldn't pick for need just like I usually would not draft for need. Cox would be my 1st pick, but I would not pass up on superior talents in Jackson or McCoy just because Allen would be an improvement over our awful safety tandem.

I considered McCoy but a running back with concussion issues? Yikes.

Jackson is cancer, I wouldn't have him on the team.

Yeah, he produced 6 sacks last year.

JPP will keep sucking, and its for mainly the same reason really smart people are constantly outsmarted.....because they really believe thay are so much smarter than everyone else.

JPP is convinced he's a superstar, and he's not. He will never work hard enough to be great like Ware.

I would take him and not worry about it a bit, but I would also understand taking Maclin. Allows us to move on from Austin.

Mathis I can't get behind. He's too old. Can't build on him.

Giants - Victor Cruz. Outside of Cruz, the rest have injury concerns, and Dallas needs more team speed.
Redskins - Alfred Morris. Solidify the damned running game. Trent Williams works too. I feel the performances of both have been artificially bolstered by the read-option.
Eagles - Evan Mathis or LeSean McCoy.

If you take Cruz you can move on from Austin without needing Maclin.

If you take Cox you can replace Ratliff.

Trent Williams replaces Doug Free.

Gain three good players, lose 3 of our worst.

I would take Nicks before I'd take Cruz.

I don't like the way Nicks moves around...he looks quite old for being a young guy.

Agreed. At full strength, he's elite. But he hasn't been that way in a while. Cruz would give Dallas a dimension of speed they've lacked since TO in '07.
