Cool, so it's been established that Tech fans are happy he's gone and Oklahoma is happy to have him. Maybe it's time you move on.
Talk to C-Rock. He's the one that brought it back up.

Admittedly I was stirring the pot because all the Tech people ragged on him and he has actually played very well so far.

Not me. I was pissed because he left and HOW he left.
By his own admission he was pissed because he wasn't given the starting job. He was told he'd have to compete for the bowl game. He ran off mad.
Later once his family found it the rules. They changed the story. Supposedly he was upset because he wasn't given a scholarship. He was a walk-on. Typically they aren't handed right out since he came in Juiy. He didn't have time to prove himself and all of that in the short period of time. Once the semester started scholarships aren't awarded. He knew damn good and well that he was going to. But that was the angle his family was going for when they tried to circumvent the rules.
Since then it's been nothing but BS lies. He threw a fit and stormed out leaving folks hanging. That sort of stuff pisses me off. He's obviously showing that he's a damn good player and why he was able to start with only a few weeks in the system.
He may have handled the situation poorly, but IMO, there should be no restrictions on a non-scholarship player transferring. Why should a non-scholarship player owe the school anything? If he was never on scholarship how did he leave folks hanging?
If he was not on scholarship and still had to compete for a job I can't blame him for using all of his options.
Yes he could have went about it better but to me he played the system to his benefit and really owed Tech nothing.

Yeah, I'm still not seeing all the hate towards the guy. It's not like Tech really did anything to keep him. He left the school because he didn't feel like he was getting a fair shake at the starting job and knew that he would have better opportunities somewhere else. Seems reasonable to me.
When Jake Ruddock left for Michigan I didn't harbor a grudge towards him. He clearly left because Beathard was stealing snaps away from him. He is doing good for Michigan and I'm perfectly happy for him.

He was on campus for less than a month as a true freshman and won the job. He played like crap turning the ball over like crazy. How is not a fair shake?
So did you think you had a better QB on the roster? If you did why would you have angst over him leaving? If you didn't then he should have been your starter.
Surprisingly good start.
Let's see how long this lasts.
I can't believe how much trouble OU's offense is having with our defense.
Awful conservative call.
We had them on their heels and this was this chance to really grab this game by the throat, and we run a draw on 3rd and 6.
