Week 3 Gameday Chatter Thread | Falcons at Cowboys | 9/27/2015

Through 2 weeks the Cowboys defense ranks #2 in overall defense, #1 against the run.

No Tevin Coleman for the Falcons today so I expect to see a one-dimensional Atlanta squad. Ryan is going to make some bad throws today and I think we make him pay for those mistakes.

I also mentioned this last week, we have to get something out of our return game. The coaching staff has to make things easier for this offense and that means making adjustment with the PR so that we can hopefully win some of the field position battles. If they insist on keeping Beasley in at PR we're dooming Weeden and the offense to a day of 70+ yard drives.

I think the Cowboys find a way to get it done. All week long the team has had to listen to how everyone else in the division other than Dallas is the front-runner to win the division.

GM Jerry talked up Weeden's arm last week but what worries me is his ability to recognize/diagnose what defenses are doing at the LOS.

Romo is up there with Brady and Manning as far as pre-snap reads are concerned.

I agree. If for nothing else to give Weeden some confidence. He is going to need that over the next few weeks if stand a chance at coming out of this stretch 4-3.
