Got a feeling Tebow might get some Wildcat work this season.

I don't think he is a good enough runner to make that worth it. Plus Tebow fumbled running some of that stuff during the preseason game. I hope they do keep Tebow as a wildcat QB. I don't think he is electric enough to make that work.

Some of those early completions were really easy though. Like guy runs a curl in the middle of the field and is wide open right in front of him. I mean any one of us could make that throw easily. He threw some really ugly wounded ducks as well. Tight spirals were not his friend. Overall I was hoping Tebow would look good because I want the Eagles to keep him on their roster. Would love for them to cut Barkley for a joke like Tebow.

But compared to where he was at back in 2013, he looked leaps and bounds better. A couple of years ago he'd have been way off target on some of those easy throws.

Urban Meyer can make almost anyone look good running some of that stuff. Tebow looks slow out there. Misdirection works best in my opinion with speed. Slower guys give the defense too much of an opportunity to catch up after taking the wrong steps.

True but the problem is he's not very fast or nimble. He's more of a power runner. I don't think he has the speed to get to the edges consistently in the NFL.

He looked great running in college because of the incredible amount of talent that Florida had. His teams were overflowing with NFL caliber players. But as I'm sure you know, once you hit the NFL talent level evens out. So he no longer enjoys the benefit of playing with a team full of bigger, faster athletes.

The Wildcat worked well at OU with the Belldozer and he wasn't fast. It's a formation that occupies every defender and with an individual who is strong can make the situational 2 or 3 yards. Tebow is well suited for that role.

He will be hurt by week 3 if used that way. To be honest, it's a dumb idea, and I hope they try it.

He hasn't been used that way in the pros yet. All I am saying is that if they keep him on the roster I don't know what else he can do. He had a short spurt at Denver but that h as since been proven to be happenstance. Anyone think he can be a legitimate backup?
