Jerry may have stepped in a little on the negotiations, but he wasn't in the room. Good sign that he has truly stepped back and given Stephen more stroke.
 
Dez is a better player then Thomas by the way. Not that I don't like Thomas but that Bronco's offense force feeds him the ball. The dude was thrown at 184 times last year. Dez Bryant for comparison's sake was thrown at 138 times. They are both great players in their own right but if I'm starting an offense I think Dez has more potential to make an average QB look great as opposed to Thomas who I think looks great to an extent because of Manning.
 
Anybody know what this does as far as cap space?

That should free up a nice chunk.

It probably does but it's not like we are signing anyone now. Most likely that extra cap space will get banked which means we will get that much more to spend next off season.
