Schmitty, I played the Last of Us demo and I can tell you that you will not be disappointed at all.

I got early access to it due to having bought the most recent God of War game.

This game is going to be great, but that shouldn't be a surprise coming from the same crew that is behind Uncharted.

I was really hoping that Last of Us would be released on PC.

Hmmm. The Mass Effect series also came to PS3 eventually.

I am not sure of the exact criteria, but I can't think of any Sony studios that have released what I'd consider "PS3 Exclusives" that ever came to PC or Xbox. It would be great if they would, but I just don't think it happens hardly ever on Sony's end.

The difference is that the developer nor the publisher of Mass Effect was owned by Microsoft, whereas Naughty Dog is a Sony owned studio and Sony is the publisher as well.

In other words, this won't be making its way to any platform that is not a Playstation for the foreseeable future.

But EZ has a PS3 as well, so he can play it if he really wants to.

It's got a Walking Dead meets I am Legend kinda of feel to it. I enjoyed it very much and can't wait to get my hands on the full game.

The gameplay and character options seem much deeper than Uncharted. You have to heal yourself with med kits, but you can also create makeshift first aid stuff and the same can be done with weapons.

The creatures (for lack of a better term) are referred to as clickers. They make a clicking noise to communicate and to give themselves an idea of what type of environment they are in. Unlike zombies, there is no one type of transformation. There are different stages of said transformation depending on how long they've been infected. So you basically have different types of clickers all with different attributes to boot. You have to figure out how to approach as well as hide from each one, and of course attacking them involves different strategies.

I'd be surprised if this game is anything less than great.
 
Being as the biggest video convention of the year (E3) is only one week away, this is usually the time when information starts to leak.

Today's rumors say the PS4 will be priced at $350.

Not a bad price at all, IMO.

$350 is eminently affordable. I was scared of $499.
