My Lust To Add Adrian Peterson and What Drives It

I'd like to add #6 and be poised in 2016 to go get #7 and shut up Steelers fans.

I want to shut up the NFC East rivals and make their fans whine and cry like little whiny babies. I want to shut up John Mara and say to him and Giants fans that the roster we built is karma for him trying to handicap us for 2 years with a bogus spirit of the salary cap nonsense.

I want to shut up Roger Goodell, who I think gives the Giants and Patriots too much leeweay. I want to shut up Marshall Faulk, Screaming A. Smith, and every other Dallas hating idiot in the media. I want to shut up Dale Hansen and Randy Galloway and their ilk who have smugly sworn that they are right and no team can win with Jerry Jones as the GM. I want to shut up every doubter who dislikes Tony Romo, Jason Garrett, or some other player and half roots against us so they can keep their anti whomever agendas alive.

I want to shut up DeMarco Murray and make him feel miserable for walking away from this team. I want to shut up Jay Ratliff, and Kyle Orton, and Mertellus Bennett and any other player who thought it would be better to leave. I want to shut up Chicago Bears fans. I am sick and tired of hearing about the 1985 Bears. Great team. One of the best ever. I want them to be the undisputed 2nd best ever.

I want to see Peterson break Eric Dickerson's record so that a Dallas Cowboy has that rushing record too. I want to see Tony Romo, Jason Witten, Sean Lee, and especially Dez Bryant get a Super Bowl ring. Can you imagine Dez's emotions? I already love the kid. Seeing that dream fulfilled would probably send me over the edge emotionally. I want to see players like Greg Hardy and Rolando McClain and yes Adrian Peterson getting rings and realizing that their old teams were nothing compared to this team.

I want to shut up every NFL team who passed on La'El Collins and let him land right in our greedy little laps. I want him to be able to say, "I told you we were going to be great. I told they'd be talking about this for 40 years."

I want it so bad that I will gladly give up our 2016 1st round pick. I'd rather not of course, but I'd do it, because ultimately if we add Peterson I think the only question left is who is our Return guy?

Yeah, I think you can call this a lust to add him. If not lust, it damn sure is an obsession to do it. We add Peterson and you all (meaning the NFL) better get the hell out of the way of greatness. It's coming. I feel it. I want it. So bad I can taste it.
