We get La'el Collins. Josh Brent retires.

Coincidence?

I think not.

I don't know if they are linked in any way, but I would hope this is out of nowhere cause if they knew a week ago and still didn't look at DT's in the draft than that is neglectful.

Oh well.

He probably couldn't pass a physical.

I wonder if he got in trouble with alcohol again. If so, nobody can say he wasn't given numerous chances, and he needs to go. This is a business, after all.

Agreed. I had reserved hope this guy would get his shit straight and make Nick Hayden a memory. Guess it ain't going to happen.

We have enough non-elite minute-eaters at DT as it is. I was excited about him being a shot in he arm last year but he really wasn't ready to offer much and maybe he never would be able to get back to where he was once at (which was never more than interesting role player with upside).

A guy like Bishop is in the same category now anyway. So is Whaley.

I won't cry about it.

Sad, the guy got so many chances and couldn't rise to the occasion.

WGAS

Never understood why the team did so much to keep this JAG in the first place.

Fuck Josh Brent. He's a drunk and a murderer.

I know exactly what it means. Getting drunk and driving while intoxicated is premeditated. So in my opinion, any death resulting from a premeditated felony is murder. I understand that the law doesn't see it that way, but his history of drinking and driving makes me think otherwise.

The last thig drunk drivers have on their mind is having a wreck and killiig someone. The thing they are thinkig about is trying to not get caudht driving or making it safely to the next party stop.
