Cowboys sign OT La'el Collins

Fuck that noise. There is no way you could ever convince me giving up a first rounder for a 30 year old RB is a good idea.

Plus, we may need that first to move up to take Romo's replacement. No thanks.

Yeah, I still don't know if I'd say this draft equals 2005.... So many hits in the later rounds there.

But it certainly has a chance to be more top heavy, and it's in the conversation at least.

What other draft might you have found this much talent? Can't even argue it since 2005.

Tweeted this earlier.

It applies then and it applies now.

All this heartfelt crap with the mama and having a place for their dogs, we know what made this deal happen.

That's what I'm thinking. Free first round picks like this open you up to trading a boatload for a QB at some point in the future.

Should have saved that banned gif.

Yep. If the right guy is there next draft, I'd sell my soul next year to go up and get him. He can sit behind Romo for one year. Then we can continue the carnage on the league.

Feh.

I am in full I heart Jerry mode now for probably the first time since he signed Deion Sanders.

He made this deal happen.

I feel very funny right now.

Yea, he's on fire right now.

It's been a while, or at least it appears that way, that he was the main guy in a negotiation. He's pretty much left that stuff to Steven and whomever else.

For him to take the reigns on this one means he absolutely had to have Collins.

"Get the F out of the way, boys. "

~Takes a swig of Johnny Walker Blue Label~

"This one belongs to me"

Feh. This draft could be better than that draft. And that draft wasn't the best in Dallas' history, either. That distinction goes to the Dirty Dozen.

Doug Free was probably texting Martin-Smith-Frederick like "Hey guys, we still on for bowling tonight?"

"Guys? Guys?"

"I just parked, let me know if I should reserve a lane"

"I'm gonna go ahead and bowl a frame and have a few hot dogs, let me know your ETAs"

Probowlers only?

Nah it can't.
