There is a good mexican resturant on commerce street that had a large out door dining area but I don't remember the name. I recall it was good.

Okay, 3 stars is the definition of meh when you are traveling and want to try the best of what's offered. I've never heard someone say, "yaaaaayyyyy, that place was amazing...I give it 3 out of 5 stars..."

Awesome, there were 177 being 2 or lower. There really doesn't need to be much more looked into considering the large sample size. It is pretty undisputed that this joint is solidly stuck at 3 out of 5 stars. Not really recommendation worthy. There's a good chance that Ace will give it a meh since that is pretty much the consensus. When folks ask for recommendations I try not to take them to average places.

If we are going to get technical, he was asking me. You should have never answered. Which would have saved us all some misery.

Still, I recommend Mi Tierra, which has above average food and is considered the Riverwalk from the locals.

Since I live here, am fat and have a legion of Mexicans in the house I feel comfortable crowning myself the go-to guy. Clay is fat too and has lived here all of his life so he's in the club with me. He is much less cultured than me so his opinion is not as good as mine though.

1. Have lived very near there most of my growing up life

2. Have been back there many times cause I have family there

3. I am that damn good

All good reasons why my opinion is worthy in this conversation.

Still, Mi Tierra is a must for everyone who visits. It is open 24/7 too, so that's a plus.

Yea man, I got the company vehicle so ill drive a bit.

As long as it is within 15 min of downtown, I'm willing to head out.
