Per ESPN the intention is to draft Mariota.

:lol

3 1's and a 2? They've either lost their damn mind or don't want to trade.

Or they have multiple offers and they think someone will offer the moon to beat the others. It's not unreasonable to think there are at least 3 or 4 teams vying for this pick.

I'd contemplate a trade like that if the end goal was to draft a sure thing like Luck....but that much for a spread QB with average passing skills. :lol

This is why they're the Browns and will forever suck.

Hayell nah.

It's probably not that insane except for the fact that they are moving up for Mariota. If they were moving up for Andrew Luck that price would be nothing.

But they're not moving up for Luck. Or Elway. Or Montana. And that was the point of the statement I made. There's no point in dealing in hypotheticals. Only with what is actually there.

Offering that to move up to get Montana would be asinine... You could have gotten him with a 2nd round pick...

:rofl

True, but I think that's why Tennessee put that price on the pick. If the other team believes they are getting a franchise QB it is worth it.

The problem is none of us believe Mariota is a franchise QB and that's why we think the trade is crazy. All of which is true.

As long as Danny's lurking, it doesn't hurt to ask for the moon. You just might get it.
