That's conjecture. I can't get in Jones head but I know he has' t even hinted that Romo has been soft pedaling in the past. If I missed it by all means point it out to me.

Maybe you are misunderstanding me. Jerry is implying it. I don't think he even means to be, but when you say we need to get "every ounce" out of a player now that he's getting this money, the clear implication is that he wasn't getting it before.

Maybe so but it sounds like a general statement to me rather than directed specifically at Romo.

He also infers that Romo' s knowledge of the game was being underutilized.
