If you are asking me when he got permission to negotiate a contract, I have known that for about 3 weeks. I shared it with a couple of people, but had not shared it with all yet. I was planning to after he hears from the Commissioner on his suspension. With Typhus already hearing that Dallas people are involved, there simply was no reason not to go ahead and share it.

I would like to point out, that the article posted a few posts above, mentions him being in Minnesota, but not visiting the Vikings. Huge. Sound like someone closing out affairs in something to you?

Is he thinking, "Hell, for having to play for that much I might as well go somewhere else?" I had not considered that, but it is certainly possible, and let's admit plausible. In fact, why wouldn't the Vikings want him to reduce his cap hit? Could that be what has upset him so bad he wants out? I do know for a fact that Peterson is very angry at Vikings Chief Operating Officer Kevin Warren. Did Warren contact Dogra to demand it?

I also want to make this very clear, we've all heard Arizona theorized as well. If the only team Dogra gives a great deal to is Dallas (and I am pretty much telling you that is exactly what he has been instructed to do by his client), then he is not going anywhere else.

If the Vikings were the Patriots, the Vikings would tell Peterson’s people that, if word leaks prematurely, the trade simply isn’t happening. When the Patriots make a claim like that, people tend to comply — because the Patriots tend to mean what they say. If the Vikings are willing to say it and mean it (and do it if need be), that may be the best way to keep it all quiet until the highest pick the Vikings would be getting is on the clock.

I wonder why he's wrong in his predictions all the time? I guess those guys just change their minds at the very last minute.......each and every time.

BTW, I'm being told that we will take the top player on our board when we come up on the clock at 27. Or, we will trade down and pick someone else. Or, we might trade up. I'll get back to you when I know more.

BTW, I'm hearing that we aren't big fans of Brandon Weeden and may be in the market for a new backup QB. I'll even go as far as to almost guarantee that this backup QB will be a veteran and not a young guy.

Remember this post come training camp.
