It is kinda weird to me how the Giants and Redskins sign so many former Cowboys

Well, that could be a good or bad idea.

I think it's obvious that he really wants to stay in Dallas, so he might jump on the first respectable offer he gets from us. If we wait on Jax or Oakland and they offer him 8 or 9 mill a season, then we might as well bow out because we won't come close to that.

I say just make him an offer and hope he accepts.

All he had to do was read Mike Fisher's update from last night and he'd know this was true.

Weird fit for us. I guess he's looked at as a DE replacement for Spencer?

Coming out of college he actually had the look of a future 4-3 LE. I think OLBer is kind of an odd fit for him. I'm guessing he would be up in the 270lb range pretty quickly.

I don't think he's going to get much more than that. Dallas probably comes up to 6 mil/year and then is content to let it play out.

I wouldn't have hard feelings if he wanted to go somewhere else that would pay him more then that. I just don't think it would be wise for Dallas to spend much more then that. Let someone else take on that risk.

6 mill is right about my cap for him. I don't go very much higher.

Basically one productive year and a bunch of shitty ones. There is a reason he is one and done with Tampa.
