There was a little old lady at my childhood church who made the best banana pudding on the planet. Nilla wafers, homemade cream, none of that cool whip nonsense.

Correct. Also, the pudding itself must be the cooked variety, not instant. There also must be a true banana chunk to pudding ratio.

I had to distinguish that because we had a potluck at work the other day and this bim brings naner pudding and it had no Nillas involved.

She actually had those Pepperidge Farm chessmen cookies in it.
