How do you not at least make the defense defend the run on that play? I just don't get it. You can still pass but at least fake like you're running.

That's my biggest gripe with the offense this year.

Far too often we go to an empty backfield or shotgun when we're either running the ball well or in a short down bad distance. I have no idea why we so often make the defense's job easier.
