Wildcard Round Stuff

Why don't we just suspend Suh by having Martin stand him up and Frederick dive on his knee?

I am surprised more teams don't retaliate like that. I'd be tempted to have Martin go for his knees early in the game and keep Witten in the backfield to protect in case he misses. It is obvious Suh has no consideration for anyone else's health

I don't get it. The Cowboys have an indoor practice facility. Or did they not rebuild it after it broke Neckbrace?

And would a high school be rich enough to have an indoor facility for football?

That one is.

It's where Green Bay held practice before their Superbowl here.

They didn't rebuild it. Their new facility in Frisco will have one, but they don't currently have an indoor practice facility.

Why wouldn't they practice in the death star? Jonas bros concert?

the answer is hell yes. Football is religion here....

You should see the high school where Stafford went (it is where the indoor facility is that they practiced at). The average income in that neighborhood is high indeed.

Look at the Allen High School stadium:

Now there's a telling stat.

Puts the little dump we called a stadium at my high school to shame.

Although, we did build a brand new stadium and school approx. 8 years ago. Ours only holds 6,000; which is only a third of that Allen stadium.

Don't put us down because we have been financially fortunate. :art

Looks like the Lions might get Fairley back for this in some capacity, which kinda sucks. Between this and Suh being pissed off, Frederick and Martin better be at their best.

I'm not afraid of either of them. Martin and Frederick both have a nasty streak. I would guess they bring that with them to this matchup and mudstomp them both.

Prediction: Cowboys move on to divisional round
January, 2, 2015

By Todd Archer | ESPNDallas.com

IRVING, Texas -- The formula most teams use for success is to win all their games at home and split their road games. The Cowboys did it in reverse, finishing 4-4 at AT&T Stadium and 8-0 away from home. Some have wondered if it behooves the Cowboys to play a playoff game at home.

In their lone playoff appearance at the $1.2 billion stadium they beat the Philadelphia Eagles 34-14 in the 2009 season. The homefield helped in that one. They’ll need help Sunday.

The Lions have a formidable defense with or without Ndamukong Suh. They allowed just 17.6 points per game, which tied for second in the league. But they played only three games against top-10 scoring offenses. The two games they played on the road, they lost to the New England Patriots (34-9) and Green Bay Packers (30-20).

The Cowboys are the fifth-best scoring offense, averaging 29.2 points per game. They scored 165 points in December and had scores on 26 of 44 drives when you take out two kneeldown series. They have scored at least 38 points in each of their last four games.

They won’t get that many Sunday, but they’ll get enough to advance to the divisional round.

My prediction: Cowboys 27, Lions 20

I don't get it. Is he criticizing the defensive gameplan?
