Useless ESPN stat line regarding the Rose Bowl: Oregon is 0-19-1 all time against Top 2 teams. The problem? Florida State is ranked 3rd.

Me too. Since was the main justification for putting Ohio St. in over TCU. As much as I think Fla St is a fraud this year as well but at least they had the undefeated thing to hang their hat on after winning last year I want to see WI lose and O st. get curb stomped. I think TCU's beat down of W Va shows the SEC has nothing on them and the only team I was felt might be competition for them this year was Oregon. The way TCU is paying now if they played Baylor again, it wouldn't have been much of a game either. Man do I sound bitter or what?

IMO, from the start of the 2nd half of the season, TCU has been just as impressive as any team in the nation.

TCU has outscored their last 3 opponents 145-16.

That's domination.

I'm a Tennessee fan but I usually don't root for conferences. I want Ohio St but I don't think they'll pull it out.

I've got Alabama vs Oregon in the title game. I am intrigued by the OU-FSU matchup. FSU has struggled in most of their games this year but they still managed to go undefeated. I think the Ducks will be too much for them and they the Noles will finally get exposed. But it could be coming off a national championship they just haven't been as focused this year and played down to their opponents level until they needed to turn it on. We'll see this afternoon.

I agree about OU - FSU. The way both teams have played I see Oregon winning. But if FSU finally puts together a 4 quarter game that'll change things.
 
So ND had not much trouble with LSU 's defense (449 yds).

Georgia Tech ran all over Mississippi St.

TCU rolled Ole Miss.

Wisconsin running all over Auburn.

What does it mean? The SEC is overrated? These teams bring their A games and were disinterested? Probably a little of both, but I'm still going with the overrated.

Go Alabama though.

Yeah...I like their DBs and feel like they are due to have a quick start. Too much talent not too. I expect Winston to play like the upperclassman and Mariotta to press.

I have that very bad feeling, too. FSU is a team of criminals and knuckleheads, but they do have a ton of talent. Probably more NFL-looking athletes than anyone but Alabama.

Plus I don't think the Pac is very good. Arizona losing yesterday to Boise didn't help.

Interesting. I want FSU to win for some reason. Winston is an idiot, I can't stand Jimbo, etc., but want them to win. Weird. Must be an Oregon thing.

I think it's a combination of all of those. The SEC isn't as good (defensively) this year as it's been previously. In fact, their defenses have't been very good at all. So when you stack them against teams that run the ball well or go up against the crazy, high powered Big XII offenses, they look like shit.
