I thought it was a very original story, great casting and acting (especially by gyllenhall). It was two hours long and I didn't even think about what time it was even once... I usually do when I'm in the theatre.

The timing of the release is perfect considering what's been going on in this country. And it is a great caricature of the Orlando news. Stabbings and shootings, film at 11.

I agree with everything you say here. I guess it was just the "best movie of the year" part that threw me.

Looks shitty. The first one was a bit of a let down. And no Cusack.
 
I saw this preview today. Looks like a great family film. Plus Wolverine is in it so it has to be good. (Discounting that terrible Lez Mis thing)
 
Watched American Hustle. Now I wish I had watched it sooner. Lawrence was excellent in it, so was Bale, as usual.

I got it from Redbox one time and my kids were bugging me, so I stopped watching. Caught it on Netflix and I agree...great movie.

Watched Wolf of Wall Street...another good one.
 
Lots of stuff out there about Batman v Superman...Doomsday looks like the big threat per some reports.
 
I gotta hand it to Sigourney Weaver, I still find her sexy as hell. She looked good in that Exodus movie.
