The Music Thread...

Are all songs named Blood now?

Now here's a song/Poem by Willie Nelson that all guys can relate to sooner or later.

"I have outlived my pecker."

A Poem by Willie Nelson

My nookie days are over, My pilot light is out.
What used to be my pride and joy, Is now my water spout.

Time was when, on its own accord, From my trousers it would spring.
But now I've got a full time job, To find the friggin thing.

It used to be embarrassing, The way it would behave.
For every single morning, It would stand and watch me shave.

Now as old age approaches, It sure gives me the blues.
To see it hang its little head, And watch me tie my shoes!

The relic in me says VH1 or Fair Warning is the best VH album of alltime, but the younger relic says it is 5150.

The vocal over with this chick is so damn hot.

Going through a weird industrial phase lately.

Don't you judge me.

I hear Holy Diver in this song in one of the breaks...same riff.

Foo Fighters, Sonic Highways, it is a grower...the first few listens did not stand out to me, but after more listens pretty much all these songs are worthy on their own. Really strong songs in Something From Nothing, I Am a River, In the Clear, and The Feast and the Famine.

She does have a wonderful voice.

So no Xmas music. My personal favorite Christmas carol:

And a very close 2nd is:

There was something to be said for the old Christmas specials Bing, Bob Hope, Andy Williams and the like did every year.

After watching AC/DC open the Grammys with Highway to Hell it makes me sort of glad that Bon Scott died young. :unsure
