Week 9 Gameday Chatter | Cardinals vs. Cowboys| 11/02/2014

We're a good team when completely healthy. That's it.

Now you can see how bad the team starts to get when you have to play guys like Weeden, Parnell, and Berny.

Just wait until Crawford and McClain are out.

Yep, no matter how good or bad this team is, one constant with this team for years has been crappy depth. When we've had good teams, we're reduced to mediocre once the injuries pile up, when we're bad we become awful.

What a difference a week makes.

I felt completely different about this team at this time last Sunday.

Exactly.

I'm starting to not care again. Which is fine by me. Makes my Sundays less stressful.

Pretty sad when a shitty team like the Vikings can put up 29 on the Redskins while the Cowboys looked clueless against them.

And we lack the quality coaching to make things work when we have to go to our backups.

Sanchez was impressive today, but how do you think he would've performed if he had played for us today?

Yep. Once I saw that we were going to sleepwalk through this one by the second quarter, I didn't mutter a single word other than what I posted here. Only had two beers and didn't curse at the TV once. Last week I went through a six pack and after the final play I pounded my chair a few times. I was kind of pissed but at least somewhat confident coming into this game. This game smacked me right back into reality.

Welcome back apathy, you're good for my blood pressure and my BAC.

My guess is he'd have looked like the Jets' "butt fumble" Sanchez if he had the Cowboys coaching him up.

Raise your hands if you had Julian Edelman being the star of the Patriots-Broncos game.

I see the board has been battered back into apathy.

WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO LEAVE THAT MOTHERFUCKER?

I CAN'T!! I LOVE THE COWBOYS!!

Meanwhile our STs have stunk this season. That blocked Fg was big, because it means we probably don't go for it on that missed 4th down (which was a dumb decision regardless), since a fg there would have given us the lead.

Playoff game in AZ wouldn't be too bad. Would be at least 40% Cowboys fans.

Don't see it happening.

Romo is banged up, OL is out of sync missing two starters. Dez is being erased. Staff refuses to run like we did on win streak.

It is going to hell.

I really did like what I saw from Hitchens, Melton, and Lawrence. Lawrence was pretty stout against the run too. Hate the loss, but I was pleased with the D overall.

Sorry...not hanging this on Garrett. Weeden made so many bad throws it was ridiculous. Bad on the GM for not having a better back up QB.

Just think... if we abandoned the run with Weeden at QB imagine the lack of faith in Linehan when Romo comes back.
