Week 8 Gameday Chatter | Redskins vs. Cowboys| 10/26/2014

Romo is a liability in games like this and the blueprint is out. Pressure him, hit him a couple of times and he goes into a shell. The line played like ass in pass protection so that enabled it but it is what it is.

Dr.Jerry says Durant has a torn bicep.

Done for the season.

@NFLCharean: Leary has a groin injury.

Heres the excuse we needed for why we didn't run more.

Wow. I just went through the play-by-by-play

We ran two straight rushes 3 times.

We ran three straight rushes 1 time.

There is just no excuse for this.

The funny thing is, I'm upset about the loss, but I'm furious over the coaching. I'm more upset over the idiotic coaching than I am the loss, and I think that's because I honestly thought we were past this stupid shit.

I don't even wanna see Garrett explain it because he always finds a way to do and it's just gonna infuriate me further, but it's one of those deals where you still wish some reporter would throw all the reasons in his face as to why ignoring the run the way they did was so damn stupid.

You got to this point because of your commitment to the run.

You kept picking up 7,8, and 9 yards on 1st down with the run, why did you then go to pass so much?

Why not try to lean on the running game in OT since you had been struggling with their pass blitzes so much in the 2nd half? Why not let Murray carry again on 2nd and 2?

It's just a laundry list of reasons as to why ignoring the run on 2nd down made no fucking sense whatsoever. Fucking idiots.

Shouldn't have even mattered who the QB was. Murray should've been the focal point.

Well, Murray finished with 19 carries.

Let's see how this team responds next week before we start writing them off for the season.

Mmmkay?

Oh I'm sorry.

F THIS TEAM!!11!1!

WE ARE TEH SUCK AGAIN!!1!

Better?
That's more appropriate than bullshit excuse making. Romo looked like crap to start the game and absolute dogshit after he got hurt. But I wouldn't expect you to give an honest assessment of him.

Sad thing is we may have won with Weeden because we would have ran the damn ball. How is it that no one on our offensive staff could see that Romo couldn't play after the injury? We could all see it.

Don't be so sure.

Remember 2nd and goal from the 3? Pass.

They did that shit all night long and they were gonna do it in OT no matter who the QB was.

Apparently Haslett drew up some never before seen blitzing scheme that will take years for offenses to adjust to.

Or this staff and Romo are still dumb.

Yep. Now the blueprint is blitz the fuck out of Romo

Not just Romo, but our vaunted O-line.

Guys came free all damn night - up the middle, from the edge, it didn't matter......we couldn't stop it.

Yes Romo is a bitch. OK. Or maybe the Redskins, who play us twice a year know how to play against us. Redskins fucked with Romo all night.

We are 6-2. Tonights game was like the Texans game, except we lost. We are not that good. Lets see what happens next week against Kangol coach.

STFU with that cliche bullshit.

Yea, rivalry ain't got shit to do with it.

What's most concerning is that while we did make early mistakes, we didn't give this game away. This isn't one of those where you can go and clean stuff up and know that it's just a bad day. We were outplayed and outcoached, and I'm really concerned about how teams are going to attack us going forward after what the Redskins did tonight on defense.

We might be 6-2, but I think we're in dangerous waters right now. A loss to the Cardinals next Sunday, and I can see the wheels start to come off.

Romo did look off all night. Not sure why.

Romo has 2 games a year where he just looks bad from the start and is off all night.

This was the first this year.

I'd respect a loss if Murray went 30 carries for 80 yards. From the get, Romo wasn't on.
