Week 7 Gameday Chatter | Giants vs. Cowboys| 10/19/2014

but Dez was dominant in the second half, he took everything they gave him and made several clutch plays.

He was awesome yesterday, and watching him take over the way he did is something that I'd like to see more of from him.

That was easily his best game of the season.

One other thing that I found odd. We kept lining up both WRs on one side quite a bit. Not sure I love that.

Where did Terrence Williams disappear too after the big touchdown catch? he kinda screwed me in my money league, should have started Golden Tate. Now I have to hope LeVeon Bell can get me 20 points.

Terrance Williams is tricky for fantasy. He doesnt get very many targets and even less when Dez takes over. However his TD rate is nice so it makes you want to keep playing him. With the emphasis on the run game its generally one receiver getting the majority of the points.

Yesterday he did have opportunities for 2 more TDs, though. One was a good defensive play that the ball should have been led more in the middle of the field. The other was on Escobars first TD. Williams was wide open in the end zone as well.

You should be the last one to talk Mr. I'm-Boycotting-the-team-unless-they-do-well-then-I'm-gonna-say-oh-fuck-it-and-post-towel-smiley-and just-pretend-everything-is-just-a-joke-for-the-third-straight-year.

But hey, that's how you do, right brother?

:lol

Huh?

It felt like it took a little longer to get the running game going, but I don't think it had anything to do with Parnell. The Giants were loading up against the run until we spread them out a little bit. Escobar helped open it up a little bit with his two TD's, but Dez was dominant in the second half, he took everything they gave him and made several clutch plays. The defense did look a little shaky at times but they held up, I think Beckham Jr. is going to be a playmaker for the Giants and will give us fits in the next couple of years. We've gotta find a way to get to the quarterback, that seems to be the missing link right now.

The run game was very slow in getting going. But, props to Linehan for sticking to it. Our OL eventually wore them down a bit. We didn't punch them in the mouth like Seattle. We adjusted a bit, opened up the field and went right back to the run. Linehan is earning some serious props this year for his adjustments.

Oh, and yeah, Dez took over the second half... kinda like an ELITE! WR should.

Another thing that should be noted is the officiating. It was horrific all game. There were at least 3 instances where we got shafted on the spot. There was one Murray one in particular off RT that we got hosed about a yard and a half.

Noticed that as well as vagiants getting extra on their spots most of the night.

It was ridiculous. Not to mention getting yet another TD taken away because of a premature whistle.

That fourth down pass interference bullshit call pissed me off but that stuff happens. The constant shafting in ball spotting however really makes you scratch your head. I understand when it consistently shorts both teams but how do you always screw Dallas out of a yard and give the Giants consistently a yard when they have the ball.

When was this? I don't remember that.

It was when T. McClain (I think) hit Williams in the backfield and jarred the ball loose, and the ref blew the whistle to stop the play. Well, as soon as he hit him the ball came loose and McClain came out with the ball and could have walked into the endzone. I guess one could argue that he may have been down by contact, but bare minimum we have the ball deep in their territory.

I don't get all the people upset about the PI call on Wilcox. It was obvious to me. He had his hands all over the WR and he was face guarding. Church was hanging on the back of the WR. It seemed legit to me, though a stupid play by the players when they would have just tackled him short of the 1st.

Oh, yeah. I remember that. That clearly should have been a strip and recovery for McClain. But there would have been no TD, he would have been down by contact as they were touching when the ball changed hands and he hit the ground.

Yeah, I was more pissed at Wilcox than the refs on that play. I thought it was obvious PI.

You could be right, but they took 3 from us at the very least. So, the refs have now taken 3 scores from us because of premature whistles. Just very frustrating.

This is really good to hear.

No doubt. I understand the point of blowing the whistle to try and save injury or whatever, but that needs to be tightened up. At the very least, allow a play like that to be reviewed. To not allow replay just because of a whistle is retarded. The ball was coming loose on initial contact, not when the RB was being driven back. That could have been a game changing play decided by a referee, which should be unacceptable.

That was a great play by McClain. Good to see from him.

That's a rarity. Normally, Joan would've waltzed right into the locker room like a drunken floozy and told the team to celebrate the win and take a few days off.

:lol Jesus. Enjoy the win and the newfound mental direction of the team. It's not that hard.

Or do you really have that much sawdust packed up tight in your vag?
