Getting this bitch started early

i'm debuting this sucker today...had to buy a $10 metal drill bit to make a proper hole in the grill and $4 for rustoleum. serious investment here, just like the cowboys will be making in the run game today.

A worthy investment, seriously can't imagine cooking without it now.

I used the one I bought from Skid last weekend to smoke a ham. Not sure how I ever did it before. It was very cool.

NFL Game Day crew talking about the Cowboys finally balancing out the play calling and how leaning on Murray and the OL is their best method of attack to win games.

They're discussing a lot of stuff we've talked about. The issue being the play callers and Romo possibly being too concerned with his own stats rather than actually winning games.

They also mentioned something that is fairly common sense but what Dallas continues to struggle with. Leaning on Murray and the running game actually helps their beleaguered defense since it keeps the clock moving and lessens the amount of time that the D has to be on the field.

Again it's common sense. Football 101 for beginners.

But I still don't trust Dallas, particularly Romo, to remain committed to the running game.

Oh, and about the game, this just has the feel of a game we should walk away with easily and don't. I feel a very frustrating day ahead of us.

I am missing the game because my sons youth football plays their games on Sundays...the perils of living in Husker country. The plus side...I do the public address for the games, so Baby Carp is in on every tackle.

Same here.

I'm looking at all the key injuries the Rams are dealing with and thinking the Cowboys should win this one by +7. But I know somehow, someway the Cowboys will find the banana peel.

This is a game where we'd be crazy not to lean on Murray and the OL but I just have a gut feeling that Romo will feel the need to throw himself back into rhythm and get his BFF more involved. So I'm expecting a pass happy offensive attack.

They just showed Romo walking in to the stadium and he was making his constipated face....we're fucked

Aren't the Rams going to stack the run? I don't care where they're ranked in rushing D. Throw 8 or whatever guys in the box and force an old, recovering QB with a bad back to beat you.

I'm just saying don't bitch if we try to lean on Murray and can't and Romo has to throw more than we want.

For whatever reason they had the youth games on Sunday in LBK as well. I think you can tell that you are in a college town when games are scheduled on Sunday rather than Saturday.

As long as we try more than just a couple of times before abandoning it, I'm fine. It's when we try a couple of times and then totally get away from it that it bothers me.

Well, we should never get totally away from it. When we do the defense stops putting 8 in the box and just pins their ears back going after Romo. You have to keep them honest the whole game.

This should be a no-pressure win for us. Dallas never makes winning easy though... This game feels like one of those where we turn it over 2 or 3 times. Luckily so does StL and we squeak out a win late.

StL - 23
Dal - 27

I agree with that. Maybe I worded it wrong. I don't think we should ever completely abandon it. But, even going 65/35 after failing on a couple of runs is still inexcusable.

Just realized that Broaddus blocked me on Twitter. :lol

My main issue is when we abandon the run and go 5 wide the majority of snaps, you have to at least have the pretense of running
