Apologies if one already exists. I am looking for some advice. I want a coupe, I like the look of the Audi A5 or the BMW 428i (I think thats what it is). But does anyone have a suggestion. I will trade my current car in and probably lease my next one.

Can't help you with your preferred taste. I'm a Lincoln man.

I'm looking to do the same.

I'm looking at that entry to mid-level luxury vehicle, and the makes I was interested in were Audi, BMW, Lexus, and Acura.

I really like the looks of the A5 and prefer Audi exterior design to BMW. I saw a white A5 coupe on the street a few months ago and started researching them a bit after that. The problem is I already have enough toys and I can't really justify another car.

What no love for the Cadillac's?

I tried the luxury car thing. I drive a Challenger now which I love. Wouldn't mind getting a beater truck for fun though.

Cadillac has had several complaints about them over the past few years. I have owned them and liked them in the past. They are more stylish than the Lincoln but the Lincoln is superior mechanically IMO. I have driven them now for about 15 years.

I had a Cadillac CTS that I really liked not too long ago. Didn't have any issues with it other then replacements parts were stupid expensive. Of course you will run into that with most luxury cars. I totaled it out in an accident and it protected my life very well.

One of my supervisors has a CTS-V that he loves. I've heard great things about the handling. It was developed at the NĂĽrburgring and it has a lot of the sophistication of a BMW with a massive powerplant if you take the V8.

Will not be buying a Cadillac after their European trashing commercial. Fuck them.

I love that commercial! :happydance Almost makes me want to go out and get a Caddy.....Almost.

My best friend has a CTS. His wife was driving it and a dash warning light came on "Hot Engine/AC cut off"

So he called Cadillac support to ask about it. They asked him if he could go start the car. They downloaded the computer info through OnStar and told him about a product recall on a temp sensor and set him up an appointment to have it replaced for free.

That's pretty good service if you ask me.

But I'm still a Porsche guy......

How exactly did it trash Europe? Don't you people usually brag about your month of vacation and 30 hour work weeks?

That is a kick ass commercial.

I predict in the next 3 years Cadillac will be pushing the Europeans and passing the Asians when it comes to the entry and midlevel luxury market, they have been on quite a roll.

Buying second hand its a no brainier you get much more bang fo your buck with a Cadillac, now that they got the handling right I'm all in.

People have been saying that for years.

I'm a 100% believer in American muscle....and Cadillac got that right. Unfortunately the bean counters are too worried about the balancing act of selling cars and leaving enough money in the product to actually build the car on a European-quality level.

That's why I think the tables are turning Cadillac is finally reaching that quality level, i'm talking entry and mid level luxury, still not ready for that top shelf.

I think the price point is what is going to turn the tide you get a lot more car for the money.
