Having heard him speak and watching how awful he was at reading defenses, I don't know how anyone come to the conclusion that he was anything but dumb.

Grasping at what? He sucked as a football player. Maybe that gave him poor self esteem but it wasn't his downfall. He made poor decisions and was inaccurate. That was what held him back.

What I said was that his lack of self esteem caused most of his dysfunctional actions. I wasn't commenting on his QB skills with that statement.
