Titans to release Chris Johnson

Of course the stupid media reports are coming that Dallas is "interested" .

Sure. If he plays for free.

We are set at QB, RB, WR, OL, DL, LB, DB, and K.

And Coaching and GM.

That leaves P and LS as possible additions.

Eddie George 2.0

Why would Dallas be interested in a high profile RB? they don't use the ones they have which I might add are probably just as good.

Murray is better than Chris Johnson but injury prone.

Randle hasn't shown anything yet.

Dunbar hasn't shown much.

Tanner is Tanner.

I could see it.

Isn't Murray in the last year of his deal as well? Get someone as good on the cheap for multiple years puts the team in a better position long term.

But Chris Johnson isn't going anywhere on the cheap.

Maybe with the Johnson a few years back but his career is on the slide currently.

CJ would be nice to have for when Murray misses some games this season but if we were going to sign a fa rb I'd rather we had went after Tate

Not worried about RB depth if we keep our mind open on draft weekend. Tre Mason and Storm Johnson can be had on the 3rd day and would both be immediate 2nd stringer with the ability to start.

I think it's time people stop glossing him CJ2K.

He's CJ1K now.

And in 2 years CJ.5K

Tre Mason won't make it out of the third.

Johnson? Doubt he gets drafted. Sucks.

I wouldn't hate it if Mason were our 3rd round pick if address the lines with the first 2

I'd hate it if we took ANY back before the 6th round. Not that I don't think there are worthy backs in the draft. I just don't have any confidence we'd use them at all. I'd rather use those picks where we might get lucky and find a player elsewhere.

RBs are practically useless with this current staff. We already have an underused starter and some backups gathering dust. If/when Murray gets injured, that will only be an excuse to run the ball LESS.

We have Garrett, Linehan, AND Callahan, and you guys are talking about RBs?

Heh
