Long time friend and Insider, Hostile has let us in on a possible trade scenario between the Cowboys and Brown contingent on the availability of a prospect of interest. As Hos stated a possible deal including the Cowboys 16th selection in round 1 and a 4th rounder could be in player for the Browns 26th pick in Round 1 and the 35th pick in Round 2. While a lot need to play out I think we will be seeing more of these scenario’s pick up as we get closer to the draft.

I have long been a advocate for Notre Dame OT Zack Martin at 16 but it now appears his stock is not only cooling but may be taking a significant drop. It has been brought to my attention the Cowboys see Martin as a OG and are not high on his future as a RT in the league. On that note I’m told he is not even in the top two OG’s on the Cowboys board.

I have received the first rumor of a “Red Flag” removal and while a lid is being put on this type of information being leaked it now appears the Cowboys have removed a once highly rated and possible top 10 selection Offensive Tackle from their board. As I can only speculate I have been told I would be “well informed” if I ventured a guess that the prospect would be Alabama OT Cyrus Kouandijo.

While it’s unlikely he will be on the board at 16 I’m told UCLA LB/DE Anthony Barr is a name making waves in the Cowboys War Room.
Speaking of UCLA, a name that continues to come up in discussions when talking about 3rd day prospects is UCLA DL Cassius Marsh who I’m told the Cowboys will bring in for a visit as well.

Finally, we all like to talk about the QB’s and while the Cowboys currently have 3 on the roster with Romo, Orton and newly signed Weeden I still get reports that the Cowboys are VERY interested in adding a young signal caller in this draft. As one source told me it would need to be a “pick of opportunity” and with the focus on the likes of Eastern Illinois Jimmy Garoppolo, Alabama AJ McCarron, LSU Zach Mattenberger and San Jose St David Fales all who the Cowboys have shown interest in I’m told the two who might present the “ideal situation” for the Cowboys are Pittsburgh QB Tom Savage who I’m told could go as high as Round 5 and TCU QB Casey Pachall who the Cowboys may use a 7th round selection on to avoid a bidding war.

Every single bit of what he is stating has come directly from Twitter. If you follow Broaddus and collection of draftniks, you get the exact same shit. But notice how he is making them "sources".
 
I posted this last year and it is quite apparent I need to post it again.

I have always tried to be fair to users on this site regardless of viewpoints. I have defended the right of the so-called homers and haters to share their opinions even when I personally disagree with them. I have done this because I hoped that giving everyone a chance to share their opinions would help everyone move on. Unfortunately, that is not happening.

Since the end of the season, I have given the haters a lot of time to rant and get it out of their system and they continue to rant and whine even more now. In almost every thread posted lately you will find the same users posting the same negative comments over and over again as if the rest of the users somehow missed the other 100+ threads where they posted the same thing.

It has become obvious that there are some users here who simply do not want to see anyone else even remotely happy about being a Dallas Cowboys fan. It is their mission to make sure everyone is as miserable as they are or else they will sabotage every thread they make in order to remove the desire of supportive fans to post on the site.

I am here to say that stops NOW!

Starting from this moment on, I will personally start banning users who post nothing but negative comments over and over especially in threads where they have no business being posted. If you do not like it, fine .. leave! There are plenty of other sites on the internet for you to vent your frustrations and promote your agendas. This site will no longer be one of those places.

The reality is that Jerry Jones is the owner and GM. Do I wish we had a real GM? Absolutely! After 15+ years of failure after failure, it's obvious that we need a real GM. That said, Jerry is not going anywhere. If any of you think that flooding this site with hate and anti-Jerry comments is going to have any impact on that, I sincerely feel sorry for you.

The reality is that Jason Garrett is the head coach at least for one more season. Am I happy with the way Garrett has coached this team? In some ways, absolutely! In other ways, not at all. That said, Jason Garrett is going to be here through next season and all the whining, moaning and ranting will not change that. Accept it or stop watching the Cowboys for the next year. You will be happier.

The reality is that Tony Romo is the quarterback at least for one more season. There are no guaranteed great quarterbacks in this year's draft and the few quarterbacks in the NFL that are better than Romo will not be released or traded by their teams. Not to mention, Jerry loves Romo so he's not going anywhere. Again, accept it or move on. You will be happier either way.

For now, Jerry, Jason and Tony are who we have and rather than dwell on the things we cannot change, most of us fans would like to focus on where we go from here.

I want to be very clear. I am not saying you can never criticize this team, its staff or its players. I am talking specifically to the people who post negative post after negative post in thread after thread.

I do not care if you have been a good or great user in the past. All that matters now is how you conduct yourself going forward. If I see someone with 20,000 posts trolling threads posting negative insults, shots and one liners, their account will be banned. There will be no favoritism so do not assume you are above this policy!

There will be no warnings on this. If I find a user posting negative comments repeatedly especially across multiple threads, the account will be banned.

For those of you who think you can just create another account, you should know the joining process has changed considerably since you joined the site. It can take several days or longer for new accounts to be reviewed and a large percentage are rejected. My advice is to accept this policy or simply stop posting!

I hope everyone understands and appreciates the goal behind this policy! CowboysZone is after all, a Dallas Cowboys FAN site!

Risen is in almost full Sbk mode (minus calling people darkies), so there's no way he's not on the chopping block.

Damn, this is peculiar. This guy joined in 2009 but never posted...looks like he is posting more, seriously. Darnedest thing.

As much as he feels compelled to post these "warnings" it is as much to keep whiners from filling up his inbox as it is to clean up the site. He knows damn good and well if he banned sbk or me, there goes 90% of their content.

Different strokes for different folks. Some prefer the positive pom pom waiving style over there. I'm sure quite a few say the same about our site. Too negative, etc. I'm sure some of those guys have posted for a long time together, sometimes it is hard to leave that familiarity.

I definitely get that aspect of it, but I'm referring more to dealing with some idiot talking to them like they're children and ordering them not to be negative.

Like you said, we're fairly negative over here, but you or Booze aren't going to type some long ass post threatening to ban members for being too positive.

I don't get why more people aren't telling that guy to go F himself.

If anything, what he should be more firm about are the countless members and posts claiming to have connections and sources. Anyone with half a brain knows that is bogus.

That does far more to damage the integrity of that board than a bunch of guys being overly negative about the state of the team.

If questioned on it, I'm sure he'll use the Brown Sugar angle. Wasn't she supposedly a Dallas area realtor that was a cum dump for Hambone?
