Cowboys sign Weeden

With the cap problems and depth problems this team has I agree with having a cheap backup QB. But I have to believe they could do better.

Makes a lot of sense. Cheap insurance in the event Orton gets the crap outs. If Orton stays and If Weeden doesn't work out send him down the road. Nothing's lost.
 
Why not Shaun Hill? He'd cost a little more, but he knows the Linehan offense (passpasspass)

He's not going to be as cheap as Weeden was IMO.

We all joke about it, but I am okay. Don't care, really.

Of course, when he's our starter to begin the season because we misdiagnosed Romo's back condition, I bet I give more of a shit.

If back ups had to be starters to qualify for a team then they wouldn't be backups.
