We've made a few updates to our board that I'd like to share with you all.

We now have a "Like" button which I'm sure many of you have already seen on other forums. Also, we have enabled advanced user tagging.

The latter allows you to directly notify a user by typing an @ in front of their name. So let's say you'd like to get a direct response from someone, you can type the following:

"@Boozeman, how good was X player during his time at Georgia Tech"?

This will highlight the notification tab at the top of that user's screen and allow them click on a link that will take them directly to the post they've been "tagged" in. The same thing will happen when you quote a user's post.

We are not done yet. Expect more things to be changed for the better around here.

What's the possibility of getting a 'dislike' button" I think that'd be more appropriate for us.

I was annoying [MENTION=3]boozeman[/MENTION] before annoying [MENTION=3]boozeman[/MENTION] was cool.
 
Why would you want to be as lame as Facebook and CZ?

If this doesn't do it for you, luckily you can always stick with the intellectually stimulating conversation provided by the likes of Jon88, Cr122, MB4, etc...
