The point if that they're both extremists. Anyone who says "we deserved 9-11," as Piker has, should play no leadership role in mainstream politics.

Which I don't think is all that uncommon in the Democratic Party, most of them just say it in less obvious ways.

Funny thing is, this dude is so nuts that he is actually going to push people towards the Republican side. It's almost to the point that it makes me wonder if he isn't secretly a Republican trying to hurt the Dems.
