Random Politics Stuff Thread...

Don't know if you guys heard, but Tina Peters was released from jail yesterday. She got something like 9.5 years when two people with her who did the same thing got six months and a year. CNN and the Dems are melting down, calling it a huge mistake, etc. Gov. Polis actually sounded reasonable defending his decision, but it's clear the Dems believe she should die in jail because of her support for Trump and her beliefs about the 2020 election. They really think that if you're more visible and vocal for Trump, you deserve to die in prison. Just insane.

God bless you, Scott. There is no way I could do what you do, but many props for doing it. This country needs more sane voices like this in the public eye.
 
Of course he's right, but what kind of an idiotic question was that? "Why is it important to stand up for what you believe in and not just hand the other side a victory without countering them?"

Hopefully that was just a way of telling him to explain his views.

Yeah, I think it was definitely a leading question to allow him to convey why he does what he does.

And, Back when you got into it, it was so pure. It was about service. Now it's just a sport.

GTFO with that garbage. Politics has always been dirty. They just lost this round so now it's "unfair."

Unfortunately this isn't the win he's making it out to be.

By my understanding they are not saying that they were wrong about climate change, just that their projection of how bad it's going to get by the end of the century was wrong.

And they're saying their projection was wrong specifically because usage of fossil fuels has declined quicker than they thought it would thanks to lowered costs of renewable energy and their climate policies.

They still think it's real and even worse they think their policies are working.
