2026 Random Cowboys Stuff Thread...

Just wanted everyone (especially Booze) to know that I got my patio back together (weather got the TV, etc). It was another one of those puzzle pieces that had to be put back in place to get back to normal. Just wanted everyone to know that the patio is back and I will be enjoying the bullshit from out here on gameday again this year. It feels good, man.

The Porch is more secure and therefore the superior version.

Bell's career earnings according to Spotrac are around 6.78 million. So yeah him having $9 million would be odd but it might be misreported by Fisher.

Do we know he was released for indigence or did he just file for it?

And presumably that 6.7m is subject to taxation and then even if he’s living frugally for an athlete I’m sure he’s living like at least $100k a year.

Before I went so deep in the bottle (can) this patio was my little paradise. We would sit out here and watch the Rangers, Cowboys, movies, tv shows, etc. We would get out here about 9-10 in the morning to drink coffee and not go inside until it got dark. It is absolutely my happy place. It's a huge piece to get back in place.

What happened with the weather and your TV?

Hell, it would have to fucking rain to hurt it.

Oh, you mean the one that died? I left it uncovered one night on a night where the wind blew just right to get the rain to it. Fried it.

It's pretty well-protected by a partial wall and a back wall that I built, but the wind blew just right that night.

I now have a really cool cover for the new one that should keep the new one nice and dry.

BTW, do not buy a Roku TV. I went cheap because it was going to be outside and if it died I wouldn't be out a lot of money. I bought a 55" TCL Roku TV for $238. It's a smart TV and all of that, but I didn't realize you can't use any bluetooth speakers with it except Roku speakers. I assumed bluetooth meant bluetooth. Nope, they have their tech locked down to only be compatible with Roku products. Pissed me off when I figured it out. But, the speakers have an aux port and the TV has an optic port, so I used an aux to optic cable and hooked it up that way.
