I don't know why you guys are so excited about great economic numbers right now... do you remember what happened to the last person who put out shitty numbers? This may very well be accurate but that's putting a lot of faith in who is broadcasting them from this administration.

I guess he's saying the numbers are all fake, that we're actually living in an awful, declining economy and any numbers to the contrary are a lie.

I wonder if they think the 2019 economy was all a lie, too.

I mean I'm open to evidence of this. But truth is positive news is always good. The economy can be funny but sometimes it is a bit of a self fulfilling prophecy. People see good news, they spend more, they stress less and it feeds the economy to do well. People hear bad news and they worry, they save more and spend less and the economy does worse.
