Without the stupid draft thing and clownish uniforms, it's still a joke. The players haven't gave a shit about this game for years. And now that it's played before the super bowl and those teams' players are out, it's even worse.

Frankly I don't blame the players for taking this game lightly. They are potentially risking their careers on a meaningless endeavor just so someone can profit from it.
 
I remember when we used to have a Pro Bowl chatter thread, and now it's devolved to a few comments in the Test thread. That's how bad the Pro Bowl has gotten.

Robert Edwards lost his career in a beach football game...I'd be nervous as a coach or GM.
 
I turned it on for about 2 minutes and changed the channel when I heard Deion mic'ed up.
 
I caught about half of the 4th quarter. Forgot it was on.

It seemed more entertaining and palatable than years past, to be honest. Could be that this choosing sides thing works. It's a clownish circus, sure. But there is a little more intrigue and the teams seemed evenly matched this year. And no one put up 30 or 40 or 50 points.

I didn't think what I saw was that bad.
 
I watched the game and it was actually played in a competitive manner. I was pleasantly surprised.
