Micah Parsons Traded To Packers

I'd be pretty irate if they turned around and gave up a 1 for anything less than a bona fide Pro Bowler in their mid-20s.

The whole point of this trade, in my opinion at least, is setting up the future QB situation after Dak for 10-12 years, trading one of those 1's would obviously put a dent in that plan.

If they want to send a 2 for the Ravens for Oweh or something they can knock themselves out.

exactly. Jerry sees a few wins in a row and starts throwing around first round picks like candy is a nightmare we do not want.

I hope that's not right. I don't think Clark is as washed as some, but he is long in the tooth and who knows how much longer he'll be good.

I'd have sent him to Jacksonville or Tennessee if possible.

The whole thing that confuses me is why was a run stopper the key to the deal? I thought run stoppers were unimportant based on our history.

It is not easy, but the rushed way they did this after stringing things out seems insane.

Who knows whether or not those sorts of teams would've offered a big package without working out an extension, but it sure seems like they didn't try to find out.

We'll never know but all of this seemed quite rushed and panicked.

I'm in the middle of watching some all-22 of Clark and I don't think he's washed at all, he was especially good playing the run against the Eagles in the playoff game.

If he were 27 I'd be fine with it, or if we had just signed him to like a 2/30 type deal as a FA, that'd be fine too, but nothing can change the fact that they should've gotten more out of a deal like this even if Clark will be a useful player for a few years.

Day late and a dollar short as usual on football issues, with a side of fucking stupid too getting a washed 10 year vet DT.

Waiting for inevitable George Pickens contract extension to drop any time now.

Age wise he isn't that old. But years in the NFL, he has a good amount. I guess that's what happens when you're in the NFL at like 21.
