Thats probably the perfect one if you couldnt add Landry.
 
Really? I would put Aikman over Irvin. And there are probably better ones than Troy (although he'd be worthy).
 
What about a Mount Rushmore for just coaches including assistants?

Obviously Landry and Jimmy...I guess Stautner. And...Norv?

I know, godfather and all that, I do get it.

But without a top QB they don't win anything no matter how fiery Mike was.

Plus I know this will be unpopular, but the drugs and hookers and almost killing Everett McIver in the barber's chair aren't ideal.

Norv is probably the correct 4th.

Reeves , Wannestadt (although he didnt do it for as long as Stautner),
 
It is a really hard question the more you think about it. So many great players, but picking a number four is pretty tough. Hard to argue with Staubach, Lilly, and Emmitt though.

After some thought, I'll go Larry Allen. Greatest guard who ever lived and one of the best OL period. Even then though, picking a guard is tough.

Same here.

I think Irvin is not only the greatest WR in team history, he's arguably the greatest leader they've ever had.

Both in the locker room and on the sideline, he never stopped trying to motivate and support his teammates.

He was incredible.

Norv was huge, but he arrived in 1991 and left after 1993. Stallings only won one Superbowl (though he went to three) but he coached in Dallas for thirteen years (we contended through most of them), went on to the Cards and then Alabama where he won a National Championship.

Norv won two, and as OC was IMO most responsible for implementing short, timing patterns that minimized the time our then terrible OL had to block. This provided the framework for a bunch of castoffs, a DL convert, and two 3rd round picks to become the Great Wall, and of course helped Troy become Troy. That was huge as I agreed, but... three seasons?

He was not as splashy as Norv, but Stallings served the Cowboys at a high level longer and through a lot more playoff games.
