7th and 8th seeds playing for the National Championship. Who had that on their bingo card?
 
Fucking Sark with his cute playcalling and blind loyalty to Ewers.

Both significant contributors to losing this game.

That 2nd down play was atrocious.

Just run the ball up the gut or put Manning in for that series and give the defense something to think about because he poses a threat with his legs.

But no....I guess that makes too much fucking sense for an offensive genius.
 
I fucking hate Ohio State too.

I wish Notre Dame would win that but I until they're going to get the shit kicked out of them.
 
I think Ohio State blows the doors off the plucky Irish. It's amazing to me they have gotten as far as they have. But that's the fun of the playoffs. They might not have even been in it for a 4 team playoff.

Can't put that on the players.

They can't make themselves practice a scenario the coaches don't put them in.

That 2nd down call was atrocious. And there are very few things in football that piss me off more than being near the goal line or in short yardage in general, and lining up in fucking shotgun.

That stupidity is what kept them from beating Georgia in regulation in the SEC championship game.

It's also what caused them to get tackled for a safety vs ASU.

And it's what blew their opportunity to tie that game last night.

Why the fuck is this such a difficult concept for these coaches to understand?

When you're in short yardage or tight spaces, you want to get the ball up the field as quickly as possible. You don't call shotgun and have a play start further behind the LOS and you don't call longer developing plays when time is of the essence.

I'm so mad right now that if they sent Sark packing I wouldn't care.

16 team playoffs. All 10 conference winners auto bid. Then fight over remaining 6.
 
Ohio state’s play caller struggles against 2 high safety and zone coverage. That and /or Howard wasn’t comfortable throwing to Smith. Smith beats coverage as long as the throw is at least close enough to be contested.
