Poorly coached teams do stupid things, the ST's have been boom or bust all year with plenty of dumb shit.

I'm not overly worried about draft position because we're pretty much locked into about the 9-15 range, but hopefully this kills any moronic idea of bringing back McCarthy.

And here's my not-so-crazy theory on how that partly goes on Jerry:

Brooks has played end on the punt return team a lot of the year. But he's inactive because we have to play Jerry's new trade bust Mingo, who has a total of zero yards tonight. So this scrub corner just brought off the IR plays that position, and doesn't know what the fuck he's doing.

Fuck you again, Jerry.

Somewhat, but part of it is on coaching. It's their job to drill the key rules into their heads for exact situations like that.

You see teams all the team waiving guys off after a blocked punt or FG with nobody getting near the ball, this moron was running at it like he was going to return it for a TD.

He's dumb, sure, but it's on the coaches to make sure every guy out there knows exactly what to do in unique situations.

Bullshit. He's a professional football player. Been playing most his life. Has practiced. Participated in training camp. Played in games.

And forgets a simple fucking rule.
