I hate what they've done.

At this point they should just create regional divisions like the NFL and just do away with the conference championships and make it a 16 team playoff with the top 4 seeds getting a first round bye.

It's not what I would prefer as l would rather have the old conferences from 10-15 years ago, but I do believe this is the best way to go about it if they're just going to go with super conferences which is what it looks like they're doing.

The problem with it being regional is there simply aren't enough truly big-time programs out west. If there were, the PAC wouldn't have fallen apart.

They just don't love football out there the same way the Southeast and Midwest do.
