I'm a Tennessee fan and I don't understand the "I must root for the conference no matter what" mentality. Several SEC teams I don't like and I'm not pulling for them to win the national championship just because they are in the same conference as the team I like.

You'd think but I learned a long time ago that half the players in the NFL aren't aware of basic rules.

That's why I scoff at players who are dismissive of fan's opinions because "they didn't play the game". Most fans are more knowledgeable of the game than players.

Some fans are stupid, though. There was a guy that replied to Sapp and said the player could be standing in the endzone and knock it back out as long as the ball didn't cross the goalline.
