Explosions rock Boston Marathon; several injured

Looks like two whiteys. Maybe militia or a DC sniper situation where two guys just decide to create chaos for their own purposes.
 
Got a text update this morning that was suspect is dead after a shoot out with police. I guess they have the right guys.
 
Looks they were brothers from Russia. One dead, the other at large.

Neither one even even 21 yet.
 
I'm guessing Jiahdists from a different region than we're used to, or agents of the Russian government, which would be bad news for world peace.
 
How are they here? Student visa?

if so, when do we put an end to that program? A few of the 9-11 hijackers were here on that as well. Is that really a program beneficial at all for the US as a whole? I doubt it.

NBC and CNN have reported that the 2 suspects (1 dead in a shootout, another still on the run) are Chechnyian Nationals.


CNN TV reported obvious facts about Islamic Fundamentalism & Terrorism ties in Chechnya and possibly that is also behind these attacks, as at least one of these brothers had some type of military training back in Chechnya.


Their family emigrated to the US from Chechnya thru Kazakhstan and had been in the US for at least 2 years as one of them was studying to be an Engineer at Bunker Hill Community College.


CNN Analyst mentioned how these 2 brothers could have self-radicalized here in the US as one of the brothers recently posted on social media how he didn't have 1 American friend.


Its a fluid situation for sure...but hopefully the police can capture suspect #2...dead or alive.


Sadly, one of these terrorist shot and killed a MIT police officer last night.

Just saw this on tv and this is the first thought that crossed my mind - it had to be the right guys.

Good job on law enforcement's part to figure that out so quickly and in such a huge crowd.
