Cardinals Stuff...

We will see. Kliff built this team. :unsure

Yeah, especially once we were up by 3 scores. Like just put any of the other 3 RBs out there to take the hits. No reason to keep pounding Pollard.

That is where our weakness with the RB depth is evident. Vaughn can play for short spurts, but something is missing.

The "Zeke" role so to speak. I don't think we can try to sustain this with Dowdle.

That role has to be Dowdle. Just to basically burn clock in a blowout? If he can't play that role, I don't know why he's on the team.

It works when you are playing around with an inept offense. And if we look at it honestly, we won't play a quality offense with a quality well-coached QB until we go to San Francisco. Then we will have tests where the run game will need to not only play keep away, but be effective.

Then you look at a revived Rams offense, a possible shoot out with the Chargers and then Philly.

I don't think we can make it through that. Especially if Pollard gets dinged.

Would be nice if they added Hunt but they're playing with fire a bit here, although I get not wanting to spend a roster spot on a 4th RB when we already have a FB too.

When was the plan to make it through undefeated?

9ers, Chargers, Rams, Eagles twice, plus two Commanders trap games... you've gotta see at least one loss in there though we may be favored in all but the SF game

13-4 definitely wins the division and probably HFA, 12-5 likely wins the division and might be enough for HFA, so we have plenty of room for error.

I don't even think 14-3 is completely unlikely, 11-6 is probably our floor.

The plan should be continuous improvement.

I don't see a SB-winning offense with him as a vital component in a RB platoon system.

He is not quite good enough to be a complimentary back.

Waving the white flag early

You will see more and more of the vets start laying out. Baker never wanted to put it out there to begin with. He wanted to get out.

I think it is pretty obvious he has lost at least half a step.
A talent like his is best used sparingly, or else you damage his effectiveness overall. Blasting up the middle vs DT’s like Williams— not good.

Like Deuce, Pollard needs a little misdirection (or power blocking from a FB or H-back) to assist him. You run Deuce straight up the gut, you’re going to get him broken too. Their game is speed and elusiveness.

Dowdle and Jones… need to see more here (and in Jones’ case, anything at all) because these are our power options.

Wonder what the Jets want in a trade for Breece Hall? :)
