First, that would become your business if I started a public group to try to force you to accept such behavior and justify what I like to do. Until then, my individual sins are the business of me, my confessor and God.

Second, I am guilty of plenty of sin, in the past and ongoing, lesser and greater than what you're talking about. I don't rationalize it. I acknowedge my transgression and do what I can to do better.

I didn't say that. And I'm not agreeing with Robertson being compared to Parks, either. I just commented on your comment of the oppressed Christian. Do you disagree with the statement that the white male Christian is a popular target?

I think the white male period is targeted in today's society. I don't necessarily think him being christian heightens that targeting.

Oh, and my statements had nothing to do with Christians in general, just the attempted comparison to someone who stood tall in the presence of real oppression.

But I agree with Bob that I'd rather it wasn't a thing, in much the same way I wish Jersey Shore and whatever other stupid shit wasn't a thing. You hear people talking about it, you shelves of merchandise at a department store, you see them on magazine covers, you see commercials like for Duck Dynasty chia pets when you are innocently trying to watch some totally unrelated show...I do have a universal remote but it's not THAT universal.
