I feel like this team needs another WR and RB.

I think a guy like Michael Carter from the Jets would be nice. And one more Gallup/Cooks 2/3 type WR would really help insulate us.

I hope a couple of the younger guys step up, but yeah I have the same feeling.

Ahem. Ronald Jones.

I agree about WR. Tolbert being covered by Wright and Fehoko bouncing INTs off his hands don't give me confidence.

Not nearly as worried about RB.

I feel the opposite.

The WRs are fine. I don't give a shit beyond the first four and we have three of those positions filled.

The RB position does concern me. For Deuce to take over the NFL, he needs to be specialized.

Malik Davis needs to be it. The rest of the talent there is not up to snuff.

I love Deuce but it all feels piecemeal right now. I'm not sure any of them would do well with a consistent heavy workload.
I'm not that worried about that. Most teams are going with a committee approach at RB which is fine as long as you have RBs that can actually play. Between Pollard, Deuce and even Jones (good goal line back), should still be productive.
More concerned with the OL and run blocking.

Yep. Pollard is almost sure to get hurt at some point and then what do we have? Not much at all.

Some decent vet will probably get released at some point before the season, though.

Meh. Pollard gets 175-200 carries, Jones handles the goal line stuff a la Elliott, and Deuce does the rest.
Also, some team with a glut of RBs is bound to cut one after training camp.

Agreed, either Davis or Jones has to step up and be able to handle probably 5-8 carries a game every week right away with how the depth chart stands currently. At WR the top 3 are strong as long as Gallup is even 80% of what he used to be, and Tolbert actually has pedigree and talent as a developmental guy at the 4th spot.

Having 4-5 guys who are high-level starter quality just isn't realistic, but we certainly have 3, while at RB we have Pollard and not much else unless Vaughn is ready to play a huge role immediately.

I love Vaughn and think he'll make an impact in a limited role, but assuming he's ready to do that from day 1 is a huge leap.

It will never get old.
It will if you keep talking about it being the GOAT.

It is the GOAT.

Just don't wear it out. It is all-time quality.

That magnificent gorilla just heard or saw something completely retarded.

Then, he thought about it for a longer period of time that it was actually worth and then just stared into the abyss, wondering why the world is as incredibly fucked up as it is, and what is his role in it.

Then he realized. That was so awful, it deserved the extreme side eye to the ultra-retarded individual that created the environment for that unnecessary moment of reflection in the first place.

Yeah I agree with this but this implies we have 3. We don't in my opinion. You need 4 guys at WR who can play significant snaps. And by that I mean even your fourth guy needs to be able to go on the field and beat man coverage. If you can't beat Wright, I'm concerned. That guy should be burnt toast. And Gallup call me skeptical based on how awful he was last year. I can't shake that until I see different.

RB, Pollard is great, Duece may be a rookie but that means little at RB and I certainly think Ronald Jones is capable although I like Davis more I think. RB is all about youth. I'd keep my eyes open for young guys who become available too.
