Ok after 8years and replacing the heating element twice I've decided I'm tired of fixing my old Braun Aromaster and just going to get a something new since it died again this morning. Since they aren't made for the US anymore I was browsing through amazon and it seems like it's pretty damn hard to find a good coffee maker nowadays. So what do you guys recommend?

I got a Keurig last year for Christmas so I've pretty much been using that for my everyday coffee.

I still have a standard 12 cup Mr. Coffee set up for when we have relatives staying over. Can't have those moochers burning through my K-cups, ya know.

We had got my kid a Keurig for Christmas last year and not sure if its the kcups they use or what but it just doesnt make coffee as strong as I like. Might have to go get an assortment and try them over at her house

It really does depend on the type of coffee they're buying. Just like with regular coffee they have K-cups in light, medium, dark, and bold roast.

I usually stick with medium roast. I'll do bold from time to time as well. I'm not a fan of light roast.

We just got a Keurig and we love it. I've used the Keurig we have at work many times, but you just can't beat it for home coffee.

If you get one try the Donut Shop brew. It's really good and strong.

I use a Food Network coffee maker and you can make as much or little as you like. It is the old fashion paper filter coffee tray for ground coffee. It works fine for me and it is pretty quick. I won't bore you further with the bells and whistles it has.

I have a Bunn. My wife has a Keurig. The Keurig is ok I guess, but I drink a lot of coffee. Making it one cup at a time won't do, and I really don't care about flavored coffee. Folgers, black and strong.

We have one of the bigger Bunn machines at work and it does make a good cup of coffee, I'll have to check out the home ones

Same here.

Medium roast all the way.....can't stand the light roast.

I have an old school percolator. Like this one.

I never liked multi-part coffee makers.

I'd like to get a Keurig but they're just too expensive. I'd rather get my usual $1.40 Mcdonalds coffee in the morning.

So a guy gets promoted to Super Mod and all of a sudden he's buying a fuckin Keurig, giving coffee advice and living the dream.

:unsure

I have a Keurig, which is nice, but I went back to brewing in my 12 cup Hamilton Brew Station. Just too expensive.

Just ordered a Bunn Velocity at Amazon on sale for $85, thought about the Keurig but there were just too many reviews about the coffee not being strong enough(and yes I know there are different cups but I'm just gonna stick with good old-fashioned spoon standing straightup coffee)
