Yea, too many people got ahead of themselves after their week 1 performance - which now looks like it has more to do with the Colts being bad than the Bills being improved.Very disappointed in the Bills. They were supposed to take care of the Giants.
Now that was a gimmick that didn't fly, but most people should have known better.Just like 3D Tvs right?
For the same price? For a 70" at the same price, would you get a 4K, 120hz TV or a standard HD TV 240hz?
By that notion, then the 12th best QB in the league is more valuable than JJ Watt.I never bought into that nonsense that JJ Watt was the best single player in the NFL, but for those who foolishly did, this season ought to put an end to that line of thinking.
Going back to last season, the guy is on a unit that constantly gives up tons of points and yards every week. Now I know the guy can't do everything and he doesn't cover in the secondary, but you can't be given the label of best player if you can't elevate the play of those around you or keep your team/unit afloat by yourself.
You can't get a Texans fan to listen to you when you tell them that Brady and Rodgers are far better players and far more important than JJ because they have a history of making mediocre players look better or single-handedly carrying their team. On the other hand, JJ Watt will have 20 sacks and everyone will go crazy, but those stats come in blowouts or at times in games when the damage has been done.
I'd love to have the guy and I do believe he's the best defensive player, but the best player in the NFL? No way. If he were, he'd make the guys around him better and wouldn't week-in and week-out be part of a unit that does the team no favors.
The Texans hate is strong in this post.I never bought into that nonsense that JJ Watt was the best single player in the NFL, but for those who foolishly did, this season ought to put an end to that line of thinking.

No doubt.....but am I wrong? The Texans hate is strong in this post.
I wouldn't go that far, but if I made a list of the best/most important players in the league, the top 5 are all easily QBs.By that notion, then the 12th best QB in the league is more valuable than JJ Watt.
They are in his head. As much as their downfall makes him laugh this does the same for me.The Texans hate is strong in this post.
My Uncle was a carbon copy of Ric Flair. Wooo!!Dick Stockton looks like ric flair
