It really doesn't matter who wins this game, there will be a three way tie for the NFC East lead regardless, I just want the Eagles to suffer.

I think it does, because the Eagles host the Saints which should be an Eagles win, and the Redskins visit the Falcons which should be a loss.

So it was better that the Skins win than the Eagles because the Eagles would have gone on to have a 3 game winning streak and some confidence building.

I think I'd reserve any talk of them being the team to beat or some formidable foe.

The one thing I will say is that they are a team that always does thrive on confidence once they string a few wins together, so I'm hoping they start losing some games soon.
